This Plastic Free Foundation initiative aims to raise awareness among an increasing number of people about how high plastic consumption still is. Specifically, the challenge consists of living for an entire month without using single-use plastic, by paying attention to certain precautions (e.g., bringing a cloth bag to the supermarket or reusable containers to the butcher, using a wooden toothbrush...) that should become second nature over time.
