New packaging for our zafferanetto, the Villaretto saffron

Here we are, we have reached the end of a long period of work. We want to show you the new packaging of Zafferanetto. First of all, the life of saffron has totally changed its biography in these last few months, starting with the name, and then continuing with the packaging. We decided to transform the red gold from Zaffy to Zafferanetto, because we wanted to associate the place with the product. The name comes from the union of the spice and Villaretto, a small hamlet of Bagnolo Piemonte (CN) where our company and the organic saffron plantation are located. After that, we liked the idea of the play of doubles created in the last part of the word, which can be confused with “zafferaneto”, that is, the place where the plot of land is located. The thing that makes it more beautiful is that you chose it, customers and followers, through polls and challenges. We believe a lot in our land, or rather in the land left to us in inheritance by our grandparents and that is why we strongly wanted to change, to make our territory stand out even more. We decided to replace our characteristic magic lantern because the preciousness and the color of this spice manages to release an amazing light in its little house and on the plate, but the true essence remained a bit hidden. Taking only more the glass jar the ruby red color characteristic of the stigmas immediately catches the eye, subsequently taken up by the wax seal stamp that gives that touch of old-fashioned elegance. Doesn't it look like the same color that appeared in real letters or on pirate maps?! There the initials of our company (AG) appear Last but not least the label designed with a graphic that is simple, clean and elegant at the same time. The predominant color is lilac, which takes up the colors of the crocus petals, then we move on to the yellow of the pistils and the green of the filamentous spathes, more simply known as filamentous leaves, the nature and colors of the company. They were months of experimentation and improvement of details, because we wanted to make it more special and unique.
